The Hero Piece

This jacket is a technical and artistic achievement. Crafted in Lake Como, Italy, the fabric blends 29% long yarn Mulberry silk, 23% spun silk, and 48% double-twisted cotton. Woven in a Faille weave and printed on both sides, it eliminates the need for a lining, making the garment lighter, more breathable, and visually striking inside and out.

At just 164 GSM, it wears lightly on the shoulders, yet the double-folded cotton grounds the silk with structure and a masculine edge.

The cliffs at our Fall campaign shoot were as much a part of the story as the garments themselves. Cold Pacific light caught the silk’s subtle sheen. Wind moved through the unlined construction, giving the jacket motion and life. And when Ed took a swing in full eveningwear, it captured what Robert Talbott stands for - craftsmanship without constraint, luxury without pretension.
